Warrior Secondary, Best for Everyone?
If you tell me to just search next time, I wont. I searched warrior build and just warrior, it came up alot of random crap, so shut it and just hear me out.
This is about warrior secondaries in PvE NOT PvP I have played every profession, and I keep coming back to the warrior. It is so amazing how cool the armor looks, and how many people hate me in PvP because of my uber pwnage. The thing is, I dont use a secondary professon in pvp, pure warrior here baby. Anyways. My first thought would be a W/R or W/N. Dont mind my noobness but there are spells that when someone physically attacts you, hey take damage. I dont know if these are traps or enchantments, whatever, its effective in PvP ill tell ya that. But warriors are major short on energy as it is, so I kinda moved on. Second thought: Monk. Every warrior i have seen today is monk. I believe this is classified as a "TANK" And i can see why. I also believe tanks use shields, who cares, their beasts, high damage, average heal when monk is an absolute noob. anyways. Just asking for ideas, dont wanna take a crap secondary only to find out I will suck ass in the long run (Pardon my language) Thanks, and cheers. Lieutenant Grigs, PS: I AM A SWORDSMAN / STRENGTH WARRIOR. |

a) U can change secondary's as many times as u want so in the end it doesnt make THAT big a difference.
b) Secondary should change depending on ur style or build, Below are uses for different secondary's: Ranger: Apply Poison, Antidote Signet, Pet Monk: Mending Touch, Mending (jks), Strength & Honor, Empathic Removal, WoH, Hard Rez, Ele: Conjure Element for more damage, Shock Necro: Plague Touch, Spinal Shivers/Shivers of Dread Mesmer: Only use i can think of is hex breaker Dervish: Rending Touch, Scythe Builds Paragon: Shouts, Spear Warriors ETC lots of options Assassin: Teleports, Dash Ritualist: VwK, Hard Rez (DPS usually) Im not saying these are all good, just pointing out some which are good. |

No, and I dont care, i dont play it everyday like some, but slowly but surely I am learning more and more about guildwars, and im getting better too. Sorry if im not uber pwnage, but I understand builds, and how they work.
Anyways. I played alot of prophesies but quit, didnt decide to play factons long after release, and now im on nightfall. Im not that great at PvP, i just play random arenas with a warrior full of slashing attacks and I have actually put healing breeze in there for the hell of it. Sorry for giving you the wrong idea. But im done with PvP, i just need help with PvE By the way, I didnt mean my warrior didnt have a build, it was a tank / pure swordsman build. |

I had to quote this, because this is a good start for you sir. You can always change secondaries, so why don't you try a few different ones out, and see what works for you. I think it is fun to try new things out and explore, and see what works and what doesn't. If you are only focused on using Swords, then maybe try Ranger, like what was said, and bring apply poison and whatever else you feel like. You can also try ele, and use Conjure (whatever mod you add to your sword), and have fun with that. It is all up to you, and what you like. Only you can figure out what is or is not fun to use when you play. Good luck! |

Well, use what ever works for you. You aren't forced to use the skills that were listed.

Frenzy without rush or other cancel stance = death.
And its not too much adrenaline because u can either a) use d-slash every hit whilst FGJ is up or b) go sever/gash s&m d-slash switch target repeat. Basically it allows u to constantly unload ur adrenaline skills, or put alot of pressure on someone. EDIT: Oh BTW the skill tags havent been updated, cripslash also causes bleeding, FGJ now causes 100% Adrenaline gain, and conjure does slightly more damage i think Last edited by Luminarus; Mar 06, 2008 at 06:50 AM // 06:50.. |
